The VDC-200 captures 24-bit true-color images, which can include over 16.7 million different colors. High Resolution The VDC-200 can hold up to 20 640 x 480 pixel images in it's internal memory in high resolution mode. At 320 x 240 Standard resolution, you can capture up to 50 images.* * Note: The amount of JPEG compression achieved is based on the image itself. File sizes for each image will vary. Through TWAIN, you can transfer images taken with the VDC-200 directly into many programs, providing flexibility and value. The VDC-200's TWAIN Driver looks like a photo album. Just acquire the TWAIN Source from within iPhoto Plus 4 or any other TWAIN Compliant program, transfer your images from the camera to the photo album and choose the image you want to use in your program. iPhoto Plus 4 is the fastest and easiest way to turn your photos into cards, calendars, posters, screen savers and slide shows. iPhoto Plus 4 is included to easily help you use your favorite photos to create fancy personalized greeting cards, invitations, calendars, and other fun photo projects.
LCD Menu Display Controlling the Camera couldn't be easier. The full motion LCD displays a menu which lets you control major functions including the ability to view all images or delete images randomly.
Video Capability Built In The VDC-200 includes a cable that allows you to attach it to a TV or VCR for displaying and capturing real-time video images. If your computer has a TV card and video conferencing software, you can attach the VDC-200 to it for video teleconferencing over the internet or a WAN or LAN. The VDC-200 automatically saves images in the JPEG file format which is the most popular way to place photographs on internet pages. The included image editing software also allows you to save in the GIF file format which is another popular internet format. The GIF file format allows transparent areas and interlaced downloading.
