1200 III SP CD-ROM Installation Guide for Macintosh

NOTE: These installation instructions are for the 1200 III SP CD-ROM. Click here for the Scan Tools floppy update installation instructions.

  1. Insert the 1200 III SP CD-ROM and wait for the CD-ROM icon to appear on the screen.
  2. Double-click on the CD-ROM icon to open the disk. Double-click on the icon "ReadMe" located inside.
  3. The Color It! installation will begin. Press "Continue" on the opening screen.
  4. A notice will then be displayed. Press "Continue" to go on.
  5. A short license agreement will appear. Press "Install" to begin installation.
  6. The program will ask you to choose the disk to install to. Make sure the hard disk is displayed (or click Switch Disk to choose another disk) and click "Install."
  7. Color It! will now install.
  8. After Color It! has installed, a window will come up saying "Installation was successful. Choose Quit if you are finished or Continue to perform further installations." Despite what it sounds like, click "Quit."
  9. A dialogue box will be displayed asking you to choose a language for TextBridge. Choose the appropriate one with the radio button then click "Ok."
  10. A TextBridge Installation window will then appear. Press "Continue" to go on.
  11. A Welcome to TextBridge window comes up. Press "Continue."
  12. A list of the installation components will come up, press "Install" to begin installation.
  13. A Macintosh window will display showing the drive and folder. Use the default settings and click "Install."
  14. TextBridge will now install.
  15. The "Continue or Quit" box will appear again. Click "Quit" to go on.
  16. A dialogue box showing the TextBridge Users Guide will appear. Click "Continue" to go on.
  17. An installation box will appear for the guide. Press "Install" to continue.
  18. The "Continue or Quit" box will appear again. Click "Quit" to proceed.
  19. A Mustek dialogue box will appear. Click "Continue" to go on.
  20. A Welcome to Scan Tools box will appear. Click "Continue" to go on.
  21. The installation screen will appear. Click "Install" to proceed.
  22. A window will appear showing the folders located on the hard drive labeled "Select where to install: Mustek 1200 III SP." This is going to create a folder containing the plug-ins and ColorSync.
  23. Click "Desktop" on the right side of the window.
  24. Highlight the icon showing the hard drive.
  25. Click "Select" on the right side of the window.
  26. The Acrobat Reader will now appear. Press "Continue" to go on.
  27. The license agreement will appear. Press "Accept" to accept it.
  28. An installation screen will appear. Press "Install" to begin installation.
  29. A message appears recommending restarting after installation. Click "Continue" to go on.
  30. Acrobat Reader will now install.
  31. A message appears showing installation was successful. Click "Restart" to reboot the Macintosh.
